New Hype: INVINCIBLE® Collaborates with DAYZ & adidas Originals to Bring Tweed to the Streets & Create Gender-neutral Aesthetics

For 2023 SS, INVINCIBLE® joins DAYZ, a new hip multi-brand retailer in the heart of Tokyo, and adidas Originals a long-time collaborator, to bring back the street culture of the 90s by putting a new spin on past glories. Tweed and CAMPUS 80s are merged together to break down gender norms and create a brand-new perspective where street style and gender-neutral fashion intersect.

DAYZ, a boutique that brings together the best of fashion and strives to spread Tokyo’s culture to the world, is the latest venture of DELUXE and BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS designer – Masafumi Watanabe. The logo is also hand-drawn and personally designed by Tetsu Nishiyama. Since its opening in 2020, DAYZ launched many special projects with different units, and got strong support from friends from Ura-Harajuku have allowed DAYZ to generate buzz throughout the dire times of the pandemic. It created a sensation in Miyashita Park and became the new hottest landmark in Shibuya.

adidas Originals Campus has a firm place in street fashion history. Launched in 1983, a major important turning point in fashion history as high-end fashion circles shifted their focus from the aesthetics of class brands to support innovative designs and designers. Tweed was redesigned into a range of different looks as male models walked down runways largely dominated by women for the first time. These bold breakthroughs have had a deep impact on the context and development of pop culture.

From haute couture to the streets, luxury and street style may have started out as two parallel lines but have now evolved to align perfectly with each other. The creative lenses of INVINCIBLE® and rich street culture from DAYZ have converged to transform the classic CAMPUS 80s from adidas with tweed, breaking down gender
barriers, showcasing the charm of genderless fashion, and encouraging individualism
and the pursuit of freedom. The 2023 SS collection comes with classic and timeless
pieces in black as well as INVINCIBLE® X DAYZ limited edition all-white. Get ready for
